This $3.6M forms part of a total Federal Government funding package of $32.8M for the ‘Wheatbelt Regional Housing Initiative’. The Shire of Dumbleyung is one of ten Wheatbelt based Local Government Authorities participating in this important initiative.
There are 16 existing lots earmarked for headworks and site services development located in McIntyre Street, Taylor Street and Harvey Street within the eastern areas of the Dumbleyung townsite.
The main aim of the project is get these lots fully serviced to lower the cost hurdle for new housing development.
Dumbleyung Sewerage Works Update - A comprehensive inspection of the Dumbleyung Sewer System has commenced to identify the current condition of the system and required asset maintenance tasks.
