STANDPIPES
OVERVIEW:
The Shire of Dumbleyung has established standpipes around the Shire to allow farmers access to non-potable water for spraying and stock purposes.

TO USE:
Each standpipe has an A4 sheet/card at its location; complete the sheet/card by recording all the details required in full (please ensure the details are legible). You will be sent an invoice monthly (or bi-monthly if cards/sheets have not been collected). Please ensure that if you have not collected water from standpipes prior, and you do not have an account with the Shire of Dumbleyung, that you contact the administration office on 9863 4012.

There are no pumps at any standpipe's tanks, so water pressure is purely dependent on gravity or mains pressure. To take water out at a faster rate, you will need to connect your own transfer pump.
USAGE CHARGES:
The current price for water taken from standpipes are as per the annual adopted Shire of Dumbleyung Fees & Charges. The annual Fees & Charges can be found on the Council Documents page of the Shire of Dumbleyung website. These usage charges are issued monthly (or bi-monthly if cards have not been collected) to the contact details supplied on the initial standpipe application form.

SET UP AN ACCOUNT:
Contact the Shire of Dumbleyung to set up an account if you do not already have one prior to collecting water.
To update your account details, please contact the Shire in writing to enquiries@dumbleyung.wa.gov.au.
