Kukerin South Entry Statement

The establishment of a entry statement on the corner of Scaddan Street and Pike Road.

MILESTONES:
COMPLETE * Road dedication and land tenure approval - DPLH approval with new vesting orders received.
COMPLETE * Liaise with Mr and Mrs Smith regarding available machinery and document accordingly.
COMPLETE * Shire to assess risk factors regarding location and engage artist services for preliminary options
for consideration by Townscape Advisory Group.
* Construction and delivery.

March 2026 Townscape Meeting Outcome:
At the Townscape meeting, the updated Project Plan was presented, outlining two design options. The Townscape Committee chose (also endorsed by Council) the option that aligns with the existing main entry statement theme, which is also reflected in the Kukerin Caravan Park and Nenke Park signage.
A recent site assessment with the contractor has also been completed, with measurements taken to inform an updated project quotation.
