In 2022, the Shire of Dumbleyung contracted West Australian skatepark design and construction firm Skate Sculpture to create a concept design and cost estimation for a skatepark and pump track in Kukerin Western Australia. Based on the space available within the nominated site and funding opportunities, the maximum
detailed design and construction budget has been nominated at $500,000 ex GST.
March 2026 Townscape Meeting Outcome:
The Shire will engage a contractor to develop a Kukerin Hub Precinct Masterplan. This plan will incorporate the proposed skatepark and pump track, along with other potential features, and provide a cohesive design connecting the Kukerin Hub through to the Kukerin Town Hall.
