With statistics provided by the Dumbleyung Police, from the 2023 financial year to the current financial year there has been 74% increase in speeding tickets issued in the area from July to October 2024.
By proactively managing speeding through visible deterrents, we are determined to reduce the risk of speeding related injuries in our community.
Whilst the wheatbelt majority crash types are single vehicle run off road crashes (70%), it is important that vulnerable road uses within townsites are protected with appropriate speed compliance.
