Objective:
To commission and install a mural on the town's water tank that reflects Dumbleyung's (particularly Moulyinning) heritage, culture, and identity. This project aims to foster pride and ownership among residents, enhance the streetscape, and provide a lasting visual symbol of community resilience and spirit.

Response period: May - June 2025
Outcomes showed a strong call for community-led content, reflecting farming, history and identity of Moulyinning.
Artist Commissioned:
Jacob "Shakey" Butler has been confirmed to be the artist allocated to this project.
You may be familiar with his work, the most recent being the Newdegate Machinery Field Days Mural.
Next Steps:
Announced at the May 2026 Council Meeting, project deferred until the Shire is in position to replace the existing corroded tank with a new one (perhaps as part of a State Govt grant funding)
Council suggested some design changes to the mural, focusing on themes like sport (hockey, football etc), agriculture (historical roots), war veterans and historical landmarks.
