A short documentary celebrating local volunteers through filmed interviews, sharing their stories, recognising their contributions, promoting volunteering, and screening during International Volunteer Day 2026.
The Voices of Volunteers project will capture the stories of volunteers from across the Shire of Dumbleyung, including emergency services, sporting clubs and community groups. Through a series of short interviews, volunteers will share why they got involved, what volunteering means to them and some of their memorable experiences. The interviews will be compiled into a short film and screened during International Volunteer Day.
